Hi!:
Last week, Ana and Gari (my English teachers) did an oral presentation of the subject. They explained us the aim of it, the dynamics of theoretical and practical lessons, the topics in which it is divided and his evaluation.
This week I’ve started classes. On Tuesday, I’ve done the first practice. Regarding lab practice, Ana, who is the person in charge of practical lessons, has told us about how to do oral presentations. In addition, she has given us some advices in order to make presentations effective. To clarify this point, she has shown us a video consisting of a woman that does a very disastrous presentation because of lots of reasons. Moreover the teacher has spoken us about blogs, which is the reason why I’m writing now.
With respect to the classroom practice, I’ve looked for information related to my professional career (definitions, vocabulary related to it, etc). After it, I have to compile all this information in a PowerPoint document in order to do an oral presentation. It will be expounded next week.

On Wednesday, I’ve attended to Gari class. We have started unit 1 ‘Materials: Engineering Materials Iron and Steel’. However, with the arrival of Erasmus pupils, we have paid specially attention in the pronunciation. There are some difficulties, specially for Spanish people, to pronounce some words in English. So I hope this subject help me to improve my pronunciation because it is very important in the industrial designer’s world.

Now I have to prepare the oral presentation. Later I have to attend classes.
